I think pre pay is the way to go. That said let me recount something. I prepaid about $200 to c-tac for an event that promised to be spectacular ( end o' lies). The event was put on but in a spectacularly bad way. Lots of people tried to get their money back (pay pal) as they were pretty sore about the lack of performance by the event promoter. I do not think any one got their money back (?) I took the loss as an expensive lesson. Because of this I am pretty un-enthused with pre pay. The people who have a track record, ( Rick , Matt etc...) I will pre pay for events, anyone else is not going to get my attendance / money.

and discerning if he holds his tongue.
