So I can still host a game using the old FPS rules of 550 bolt/400 AEG/330 CQB.
Or I can host a game with no bolt actions allowed. Or all bolt actions must shoot 400. Or all guns in attendance must be painted in gold leaf. The FPS rules of AP are maximums. Like the speed limit. I can go under it, but not over it.
Sure, but that was never my argument. My argument was I won't be attending those games. At least not with the SR25. That there will be plenty of games that
will allow 450+FPS DMRs.

Not to dig up an old subject, or beat a dead horse, but I never understood the logic behind that.
The FPS limits are there for our safety. New players are often reckless. Reckless players endanger our safety.
And yet, we have leeway for new players who have hotter shooting guns.
...does that seem a little hurpy durpy to anybody else?
Even if the AEG charging handle is that weird fake latch style?
I've never understood why we're so worried about FPS. Especially on single shot DMRs and bolt actions. As long as they respect safety kill ranges, it's fine. Besides, 90%(random number) of airsofters wear vests from what I've seen. Of them, many wear plate carriers, some with plates. I'm also seeing more metal face masks(I HAVE 1 I NEVER USE). Goggles are required. So AT MOST you'll get a leg, arm, or neck shot. Whoopdie-doo. You're not going to be taking permanent damage unless you fall and break something. I agree with 400fps AEG ASSAULT RIFLES. But SWS/SPR platforms shooting 1 shot at a time, like a bee-sting if close skin, a hard tap if within proper kill range.
P.S. No, I'm not implying we have OVER 550 FPS Single shot/semi-auto guns. But making a big deal or single-shots under 500... Not a big deal IMO.
